Been visiting a chum in the Lake District over the last couple of days. While the first was pleasant, warm and sunny, the second consisted almost entirely of rain. It was incessant, causing streams to overflow and roads become impassable. At Stott Park Bobbin Mill Museum the normally babbling stream became a raging torrent. Thankfully, by late afternoon the storm had abated and the evening sunlight brought calm once more.Stott Park Bobbin Mill and the raging stream Road becomes river Babbling stream to raging torrent Babbling stream to raging torrent
