Try!It was another rugby expedition on Saturday, this time to the East coast, to the seaside town of Scarborough to see Yorkshire play Lancashire, the traditional 'Roses' rivals.
For much of the game it was quite close until midway through the second half when Lancashire pounced on a misplaced pass and a field long run resulted in the try which broke Yorkshire spirits. Despite a late penalty the home side were left with too much to do. Well done Lancashire!
It was a good day for photographs. This one shows a first half Yorkshire try with the famous Scarborough stand in the background. It really is a beautiful ground just to the north of the town, on a headland overlooking the sea, very much showing itself off in the warm Spring sunshine.
As usual, if you'd like to see more shots from the game, they're here.
