Another exciting, interesting week which included a midnight hike, a mountain bike challenge and a trip to Twickenham. The first two involved taking photographs for Sue Ryder's Manorlands Hospice. Must admit I've not done a great deal of outdoor night photography, especially on the move and with people being the main subject. It seemed to go well though. The following day was glorious and the five hundred or so mountain cyclists proved to be great subjects to photograph. This was followed by a trip down the A1 to London for a couple of days. Monday was the Photographer's Gallery and then a view of the famous poppies arranged in the moat of the Tower of London. Again, the weather was bright and warm and the poppies looked magnificent.
Tuesday was Twickenham and the media briefing day for the 2015 World Cup. Very interesting. A lot of people there, some great presentations and an opportunity to view the changing rooms, the pitch and the famous Webb Ellis trophy itself.
