Yorkshire Schools Festival of Rugby

Firstly an apology for not blogging much recently, been very busy - music festivals, tag rugby nights and, yesterday, the Yorkshire Schools Rugby Festival.

Held at West Park Leeds it was once again a great day which lasted all afternoon and well into the evening darkness. As regular readers will know, ickledot has photographed this event before but this day was a little different in that I covered one school mainly with occasional photos of other teams in between. This was Prince Henry Grammar School from Otley.

For much of the afternoon it was the Under 12 boys who were possibly the school's most successful team, winning all of their matches. Images from their games and a team group picture are now available exclusively in the ickledot shop so pop along, have a look and maybe purchase one or two!

Unfortunately this meant missing other tournaments and there was no time to see some of the girls rugby - sorry about that. Now time is running out once more before I set off to Hull to photograph the P&O Mardi Gras spectacular on the voyage to and from Amsterdam before returning on Sunday for Yorkshire U20s County Championship semi-final at Beverley.  So the shop's link only features the Under 12 boys at the moment but there will be more during the course of next week. Keep checking back and have a great weekend!
